The following projects were awarded grants
in November 2011
No. 2658: A grant of 6,500 was
approved for extra classrooms at a school in Sierra Leone.
No. 2660: A sports complex project for needy children in Bolivia
was approved for a grant of 7,000.
No. 2669: The sum of 8,000 was awarded to St Teresas Secondary
school at Bwanda, Uganda for the construction of a modern
kitchen.
No. 2671: The Empowerment Mikoma Community Based Project (construction
of a Community Centre) in Malawi was awarded a grant of 6,400.
No. 2677: The sum of 3,000 was approved for the construction of
toilets at Marhale Primary School, Bukavu, Congo.
No. 2679: A grant of 7,200 was agreed for the provision of a
permanent shelter for weavers at Arba Minch Prison, Ethiopia.
No. 2682: A water borehole project for villages at Adraa/Ayibu,
Uganda was approved for a grant of 9,500.
No. 2684: The sum of 3,000 was awarded for the training of three
nurses in Ethiopia.
No. 2685: 4,800 was approved for the installation of rainwater
harvesting tanks for the Lwannunda Community Development Initiatives at
Masaka, Uganda.
No. 2686: Nepal Leprosy Trust was granted
the sum of 6,750 for the furnishing of an isolation ward at
Lalgadh Leprosy hospital, Nepal.
No. 2687: 5,000 was granted for the purchase of a power tiller
for a Secondary School at Njombe, Tanzania.
No. 2688: The sum of 7,600 was awarded to Nhambia Secondary
School, Mozambique for the construction of extra classrooms.
