The following projects were awarded grants in September 2010

No. 2525: The sum of €10,000 was awarded for the construction of a toilet and bathroom block at St Francis of Assisi elementary School , Caicido, East Timor.

No. 2540: A grant €6,000 was made towards the construction of a youth centre at Chone, Manabi, Ecuador.

No. 2558: €4,000 was approved for Myitkyna Social Services, Myanmar for a “Programme for People with Chemical Dependency”.

No. 2559: The Mua Hospital appeal, Malawi is to receive a grant of €8,000 for the purchased of theatre equipment.

No. 2563: A grant of €7,000 was approved for a Poultry Project at the Dr Joseph Kiwanuka Primary School, Uganda.

No. 2565: The sum of €7,000 was granted to the St Blaise Medical Centre, Bamenda, Cameroon for the purchase of a Chemical Analyzer.

No. 2568: A grant of €7,600 was awarded for the completion of roofing and furnishing of two classrooms at Mdete Primary School, Njombe, Tanzania.

No. 2569: €10,000 was granted for staff housing at the Holy Innocents Children’s Hospital, Mbarara, Uganda.

No. 2571: A Grain trading project for women in the Molo District/ Rift Valley Province, Kenya was awarded a grant of €3,000.

No. 2573: The sum of €8,000 was awarded for a HIV/AIDS housing project at Makondo, Uganda. Pictures below (click to enlarge):

No. 2574: Christ the King Secondary School, Kalisizo, Uganda is to receive a grant of €6,000 for roof replacement works at the school buildings.
