The following projects were awarded grants
in November 2010
No. 2553: A grant of 6,500 was
given to the Bishop Stensera Vocational Girls Centre, Nasaka, Uganda
for the construction of Pit Latrines.
No. 2577: The Chittoor Multipurpose Social Services Society, India
is to receive a grant of 8,500 for Vocational Training on
embroidery and tailoring.
No. 2578: A grant of 5,000 was awarded to the Rwandan Childrens
School Project.
No. 2579: 4,000 was approved for an Income Generating project,
involving bead making, backyard gardening and honey processing organised
by the Little Sisters of Mary Immaculate, Gulu, Uganda.
No.2580: The TEGO Women Group, Nebbi, Uganda, was granted
6,000 for a Farming and Life Skills project.
No. 2581: A grant of 3,000 was agreed for Karuna Pekhon Social
Services, Shan State, Myanmar for a water project.
No. 2582: A grant of 5,000 was approved for the Kitchen Garden
element of a project submitted by APADEIM, El Viejo, Nicaragua.
No. 2585: The sum of 8,000 is being granted for the purchase of
Water Storage Tanks at the Mother Kevin School, Same District,
Tanzania.
No. 2586: 5,000 was agreed for the purchase of desks, books
stationary etc. for a Literacy Project in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
No. 2587: The sum of 8,200 was awarded to the JUST organisation
in West Tripura, India, for a Vocational Training for Youth
project.
No. 2588: St Augustine Boys Primary School, Kakamega, Kenya was
approved for a grant of 4,300 for a water harvesting and
sanitation project.
No. 2590: A sum of 7,500 was awarded for a Primary School at Hob
house, Mutare, Zimbabwe.
No. 2591: The donation requested towards the construction of a girls
hostel at a Secondary School, Rwinyana, Tanzania was approved.
No.2601: The sum of 4,000 was approved for the purchase of
Camels as part of a Community Development Project at East Poko t,
Kenya.. |
