Project No. 2132

This was a goat distribution project for 54 poor households in 3 villages of Beletweyn town in Somalia. The project provided 2 female goats to each of the target households. Goats are an important source of income producing milk which, after the household consumption, is used in the manufacture of milk by-products which are sold for cash thereby enabling the purchase of other essentials such as food items and clothing. €5,600 was granted for the project.
