Project No. 1997
Three villages in Somalia with a
population of 1,500 mainly peasant farmers suffered a number of
disasters, natural and man made. As a result of these set backs the
farmers lacked both seeds and farm tools. The Fund came to their aid
with a grant of €3,000. The timing of the distribution of the seeds and
tools was ideal for the new planting season.
