Additional
Contribution Methods:
Unfortunately the needs of the
developing world are still great, in many cases beyond our
comprehension. The Fund receives many more appeals for help than
it can assist.
As you will notice from the Annual Report for 2009, the total income
of the Fund amounted to €479,500 down from €501,000 for the previous
year. Unfortunately this decline in income, in real terms, has
been a feature for some time.
The Fund has been engaged in a promotional campaign (as already
reported on elsewhere
on this site) with employees and pensioners over the last
number of years with a view to encouraging more to become
contributors to the Fund.
We are acutely aware that employees and pensioners have many
other calls on their generosity which has been compounded by
various cutbacks in their income and it may not be always possible
for them to sign up to a further deduction at source from their
salary/pension.
Accordingly, the Fund is now offering two additional methods
whereby staff and pensioners may contribute to the Fund,
i.e. by way of
standing order (please print
and complete this form) or by way of a single
donation/s to the Fund’s Bank Account, details of which you will
find on our home page.
Using these methods you can decide yourself how much and how
often you wish to contribute.
PLEASE GIVE WHAT YOU CAN TO THOSE IN GREAT NEED, IT WILL MEAN A LOT.
AT THE VERY LEAST, 95% OF YOUR CONTRIBUTION WILL BE SPENT ON
PROJECTS IN THE DEVELOPING WORLD .
