The following projects were awarded grants in March 2010

No. 2509: A grant of €6,000 was approved for the “Library for Local People” in Oruro, Bolivia.

No. 2522: €9,500 was awarded to St. Ann’s Hospice in Abuja, Nigeria for the purchase of additional land.

No. 2523: The “Tools for the Organisation” project in Buenos Aires, Argentina, was approved for a grant of €5,000.

No. 2526: A grant of €9,500 was agreed for a ‘Technical Assistance Programme’ in Ethiopia. The project will be implemented by “Connect Ethiopia” a Dublin based charity.

No. 2528: €6,300 was granted to the Foundation for Integrated Development, Bo, Sierra Leone, for the construction of three classrooms.

No. 2529: An application for a grant of €10,000 for the construction of classrooms at a pre-primary school at Kagere, Tanzania was approved.

No. 2530: A Treatment and Rehabilitation Programme for Alcoholic and Drug Addicts in Tamil Nadu, India was granted €9,000.

No. 2531: A grant of €8,000 was approved for the upgrading of a Crèche and Community Centre in Pessoa, Brazil.
