The following projects were awarded grants in July 2010

No. 2497: The sum of €5,000 was approved for a Training Project for Women in Manila, Philippines.

No. 2515: The renovation of a classroom block at St. Teresa Mayirye Primary School, Mityana, Uganda was awarded a grant of €6,800.

No. 2524: A grant of €7,400 was agreed for an Orphan and Vulnerable Children Literacy project in Uganda.

No. 2547: Umeed partnership of Pakistan was awarded a grant of €4,000 for the purchase of equipment and materials for the “Training for Women” project.

No. 2548: €8,000 was granted for the construction of a water tank and borehole for St John’s Secondary School, Kumba in the South West Province of Cameroon.

No. 2552: The sum of €8,000 was approved for the construction of a Day Care Centre in Tiruchirappalii, India. (Picture added below.)

No. 2555: A grant of €3,000 was awarded for a fish production project in Arusha, Tanzania.

No. 2556: €6,000 was granted for a project in Casilla, Chile for dealing with post traumatic stress in children following the earthquake in February, 2010.
