The following projects were awarded grants
in May 2009
No. 2398 - A grant of 2,500 was approved for drinking water
facilities at a Primary School in Southern India. (Picture
below).
Drinking water is taken from the water taps by students by their
bottles.

No.2442 - 10,000 was approved for the purchase of Dental
Equipment for a
Health Centre in Nairobi, Kenya.
No. 2448 - 9,500 was awarded for the establishment of a school
for Autistic Children in Kerala, India.
No. 2450 - A grant of 6,000 was approved for the purchase of
industrial sewing machines for a training centre in Vietnam.
No. 2451 - 4,500 was granted to a handicraft project for people
living with HIV/AIDS in Myanmar.
No. 2452 - 10,000 was agreed for the installation of rainwater
gathering facilities at a secondary school in Birambo, Rwanda.
No. 2453 - A Carpentry Vocational Training Centre in Tamil Nadu,
India was awarded a grant of 10,000 for the construction of
a building.
No. 2454 - 10,000 was provided for a project aimed at the
advancement of childrens rights in Nicaragua.
No. 2455 - A grant of 3,700 was approved for the provision of
pit latrines and bathrooms at a Health Centre in Kibaale District,
Uganda.
No. 2456 - 8,800 was granted to a Water Project for People with
disabilities in Mityana, Uganda.
No. 2457 - A grant of 6,500 was paid for the purchase of an
X-Ray Machine for a hospital in Nigeria.
No. 2461- A vocational training centre in Tanzania was awarded a
grant of 9,600 for the renovation of the centre.
No.2462 - 4,000 was provided for a rice growing project in
Myanmar.
No. 2463 - A grant of 5,000 was paid for the completion of a
school building in Nigeria.
