No. 2396 - A grant of 10,000 was given towards the purchase of
furniture for a Childrens Care Centre run by the Mill Hill Missionaries
in Ramanthapur, India.
No. 2397 - Association Civil El Arca, Buenos Aires, Argentina was
provided with 10,000 for the purchase of educational aid
materials and equipment for workshops and class activities for
children..
No. 2401 - A Water/Sanitation Project in Tosamaganga, Tanzania
was granted 5,000.
No. 2403 - 5,000 was approved for St. Gonzaga Primary School,
Shibuye, Kenya for a Rain Water Harvesting Project.
No. 2404 - De Paul Woodwork Training Centre, Karen, Kenya was
awarded a grant of 7,500 for the purchase of tools and
equipment.
No. 2405 - A grant of 1,000 was agreed for St. Luke's College of
Nursing, Wolisso, Ethiopia for the printing of a training manual.
No. 2406 - St. Lukes College of Nursing, Wolisso, Ethiopia was
also given a grant of 10,000 for the purchase of an Ultrasound
Machine.
No. 2408 - St. Aloysius Primary School, Mbarara, Uganda was
granted 8,000 for the construction of 3 Classrooms.
No. 2409 - A grant of 8,000 was awarded to Mirvah Primary
School, Sindh, Pakistan for construction of an extension.
No. 2410 - VSO Ireland was granted 10,000 for a Primary Education
Project in Rwanda.
No. 2411 - A Health Centre at Makondo, Uganda was given 6,000
for the purchase of furnishings and provision of security fencing.
No. 2412 - Light of Maasai, Rombo, Kenya was granted 8,000
for the purchase of equipment for Rambo Health Centre.
No. 2413 - A grant of 1,500 was provided for the harvesting of
rain water from the roofs of school buildings at Jinja, Uganda.
No. 2414 - The Serenity Centre, Kampala, Uganda was awarded
10,000 for the training of Counsellors.
No. 2416 - A grant of 10,000 was agreed for a Food Security
Project for poor farming households on Josina Machel Island,
Mozambique.
No. 2417 - VITA, Dublin was granted 7,000 for a Water/Sanitation
improvement Project in Arba Minch Town, Ethiopia.
No. 2418 - A Girls Secondary School Hostel at Katesh, Tanzania
was awarded 10,000 towards the construction of toilets and wash
basins.
No. 2419 - 5,000 was approved for Santa Agripina Parish,
Rosario, Argentina for the purchase of a plot of land for a
Community Centre.
No. 2420 - A grant of 6,000 was given for the replacement of a
septic tank at a facility for 50 old and disabled people run by The
Little Sisters of the Poor, at Mombasa, Kenya.
